| Welcome to the Flying Pilgrims Model Aircraft Club |
The Flying Pilgrims is a radio controlled airplane club located in the Eastern part of Superior Twp.
Our club consists of just under 200 members ranging from beginner to the expert that enjoy flying electrics, helicopters, jets, aerobatic planes and war birds.
The club facility consists of a 500' paved runway that is also paralleled by groomed grass. Visiting a typical day at the flying field a person would enjoy the sights ranging from smaller glow powered planes to some of the areas nicest gasoline powered, giant scale masterpieces.
The Flying Pilgrims always welcome new members, so if you are new to the area or if you are interested in getting started in R/C feel free to check out the Getting Started in R/C article or contact any of our club officers or members, we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

30th annual 2013 Fall Phase Out for Fun Giant Scale Fly. A radio controlled airshow featuring giant scale war birds, jets, and civilian aircraft. Come fly or see the action September 14th and 15th 10am to 5pm at the Flying Pilgrims Field located on the corner of Geddes and Ridge Rd, Ypsilanti, MI.

Fall Phase Out for Fun IMAA Giant Scale meet and radio control airshow featuring giant scale war birds, jets, and civilian aircraft. September 14th and 15th at Flying Piglrims Field, Superior Township, MI. Parking onsite with $5 donation, restrooms and food concessions available.
Event occurs on 09/14/2013 from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
